IWCI moves all production back to North America
IWCI is pleased to announce that over the past 4 years we have successfully moved all production back to North America from our associated firms on mainland China and Vietnam.
Historically a US manufacturing firm located in Upstate New York since 1972, IWCI began seeking and importing raw materials and finished components from Asia in 1996. For over 14 years, under the trade name American Sino Processing (AKA American Sino Manufacturing), we imported these products from Mainland China and other parts of Asia. Since 2007, IWCI began a transition, with the goal to return all manufacturing of components and products to North America where our roots began.
Several factors lead to the mid and long term decision to return production to the USA with key suppliers located throughout North America.
1) Shorter lead times
2) Better quality (especially for short run items)
3) Transportation savings
4) Currency stability
5) Our environmentally friendly goals and standards control
6) Energy conservation objections
7) Raw materials availability and supply
Not to mention, our families’ long history of moral and civil rights.
IWCI and it's management staff is proud to have accomplished our goal and we feel that our company is well positioned and on the forefront of a very important trend that all North American manufacturers will be faced with. By securing proper suppliers, materials, staffing, and facilities now, we are taking the steps necessary to insure all our valued customers will continue to enjoy our quality products, services and pricing well into the future.
